At Pinfold, Governors and staff are committed to ensuring that all children are included in all aspects of school life. At times, we acknowledge that children may need additional help and support during their educational life in order to succeed. This may involve a period of short term intervention or, depending on the individual difficulties, more longer term and specialised support.
There is a strong inclusive ethos at Pinfold Primary School with effective systems of support which respect and values the individual differences. We capitalise on individual strengths and celebrate success and achievement whilst responding to individual needs. We continually review our practice in order to ensure the highest possible standard of provision for our children.
Our inclusion team brings a wealth of experience and specialist training to support all members of the school community to ensure we overcome barriers to learning so that children have the best chance at success. The team includes specialist teachers, teaching assistants and a learning mentor who all provide a range of learning and pastoral support.
