Dear Year 2 Forest Class,
I hope you and all your families are all keeping well. I miss you all so much and can't wait for us to be back together again. I am back at work now and will give you all a call towards the end of the week to see how you're getting on. I have spoken to Mrs V who is keeping well, but like me, can't wait to see you all again. She told me to say hello from her!
There are lots of activities for you to complete here on the school website. Don't forget to read regularly, practise your times tables (TT Rock Stars is great for this) and keep active too. I know it's a very strange time for all of us but hopefully things will get back to normal soon.
Take care and I will see you soon,
Love Ms Roberts xx
Dear Iceberg Class,
It was great to be able to speak with you (well most of you) and amazing to hear your voices. I loved hearing about all the fun things you've been up to and about all the learning you've been doing, and also about how kind you've been to your families and neighbours. Mrs. Jackman asked me to say hello to you all. I and Mrs. Jackman miss you all so very much and can't wait to see you back at school. Until then continue staying safe, having fun, keeping active, learning and being kind.
Remember, the brain is a muscle and we must use it every day to continue to be good at learning, just like a footballer practises football skills every day to be a good footballer. There are lots of fun activities for you to complete here on our school website so try to do as many as you can. Don't forget to practise what you already know - number bonds, times tables (Times Tables Rock Stars is great for this), our spellings patterns in your Homework Books, as well as to read regularly, every day. I know this is a very strange time for all of us but hopefully learning will make it a bit more normal, just like being in school, and hopefully things will get back to normal soon too.
Look after yourselves and your families and we will see each other again soon,
Lots of love, Mrs. Samuel and Mrs. Jackman
