Why it is important to relax?

What would happen to us if we didn’t relax?

Relaxing allows our minds and bodies to be quiet and calm and means we can rest and recover from things that cause us worry/stress/concern. Also, we are unable to learn very well when we are not feeling relaxed and calm.

 

There are lots of activities that you can do to relax.  Exercise and practising mindfulness activities are a few.  Here are some mindfulness activities that you could try.

 

 

Short breaks in learning can be helpful in maintaining focus and concentration.  These are sometimes referred to as brain breaks and are a short burst of activity which allows for the blood to pump and the brain to be stimulated.  Here are some different resources to support you.
