European Day of Languages - 26th September 2023
We had an amazing day celebrating European Day of Languages across school this year! Everybody, from Nursery to Year 6, took part in a fantastic flamenco dance workshop and we had lots of our wonderful parents and carers visiting to share their language skills with us. Across school, we had fun learning, amongst others, French, Cantonese, Polish, German, Lithuanian, Urdu, Mandarin, Twi and Croatian! We also visited the Spanish cafe and tried chorizo, manchego cheese and tortillas, as well as making pan catalan. The children had a brilliant day doing all sorts of language activities, learning about other cultures and countries and singing, dancing and listening to stories.
