This year the children will be going to Active Tameside Wellness Centre in Denton for their swimming lessons. Mrs Matthew's class will be going on Mondays and Miss Roscoe's class will be going on Wednesdays. It will be helpful for children to get their kit together in preparation for this:
- Girls need to bring a one piece swimming costume and a swimming cap. Swimming caps can be purchased from all good sports shops. It is helpful if the girls have their hair tied back.
- Boys need to wear swimming trunks that are above the knee. Bermuda style shorts are not suitable as they can make swimming and developing swimming strokes difficult. If boys have long hair and their fringe goes in their eyes they will also need to bring a swimming cap.
