At Pinfold Primary School, we value positive and effective communication between home and school. Clear communication helps us work together to support every child and ensure that any questions or concerns are addressed appropriately and promptly.
General Communication
Parents and carers can contact the school through the following channels:
Telephone: 0161 368 3732
Email: admin@pinfold.victoriousmat.org
We also share information regularly through:
In most situations, your child's class teacher is the first and best person to contact regarding any questions, concerns or information about your child.
Teachers are usually available at the start and end of the school day. However, these can be particularly busy times, so for anything requiring more than a brief conversation, it may be helpful to arrange a mutually convenient time to talk further. This may be through a telephone call or a face-to-face meeting.
We aim to resolve concerns at the earliest opportunity and at the most appropriate level. Appointments can be arranged through the school office or by emailing admin@pinfold.victoriousmat.org.
Most concerns can be successfully addressed by discussing them with your child's class teacher.
If, after speaking with the class teacher, you feel that your concern has not been fully resolved, please contact the relevant Assistant Headteacher:
As members of the Senior Leadership Team, they can support the resolution process. This may involve meeting with both the parent and teacher before arranging any further discussions if required.
If you still feel that the matter has not been resolved satisfactorily, you may request an appointment with the Head of School, Mrs Burlinson.
Where concerns remain unresolved following discussions with the Head of School, parents may request a meeting with the Executive Headteacher, Mr Harley.
We are committed to maintaining open, respectful and constructive communication with all members of our school community. By following the communication pathways outlined above, we can ensure that enquiries and concerns are directed to the most appropriate person and resolved as effectively as possible.
At Pinfold Primary School, we are committed to building positive relationships with all members of our school community. We ask that all communication between parents, carers and school staff is conducted in a respectful, courteous and professional manner.
We understand that there may be occasions when concerns need to be raised; however, we expect conversations, telephone calls, emails and social media interactions to remain polite and constructive at all times. School staff will always seek to listen, support and work collaboratively to resolve concerns, and we ask that parents and carers extend the same respect to our staff and other members of the school community. Please also appreciate that phone calls and emails or messages may not always be responded to immediately however we strive to respond in a timely manner.
Please note that communication that is deemed abusive, threatening, aggressive or discriminatory will not be tolerated. Phone calls or meetings may be stopped should this be the case.
