I feel privileged to work with such well behaved, polite and enthusiastic children and hard working staff supported by committed parents and governors. I have worked as a teacher since 1992 and have enjoyed several roles in schools, including teacher and Head of School.
At Pinfold, we remain focused on every child achieving their potential in a supportive and caring environment as well as giving them a range of experiences which will allow them to develop into confident individuals.

Pinfold is a very happy and exciting place with wonderful staff who do their very best to give the children the skills and confidence to reach for the stars. I know this because I've been a governor here and at Arundale for almost 10 years and I worked at Hattersley Neighbourhood Partnership for 5 years. It's great to see our schools working together at the heart of the community. I'm now a DfE National Leader of Governance working with lots of different schools sharing best practices. I am currently Chair of the Board and Vice Chair of the Finance Committee.

Chair of Governors at Arundale Primary School.
My relationship with Pinfold Primary Schools started in the December 2005 and over the years I have witnessed children who have been part of the warm, loving and academically engaging Pinfold environment become responsible and accomplished people.
Working with Pinfold as Governor permits me to be part of this journey, ensuring we continue to achieve best possible outcomes for pupils and people who are part of the Pinfold family! It is a unique and rewarding experience.

Mrs Deborah Shepperd
I am an ex pupil myself and my four children attended Pinfold. Pinfold prepared them for a successful start to further education. I have worked at Pinfold for 18 years as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, where I have had the pleasure of working with the most delightful children. I have been involved in the PTA and I have enjoyed helping to organise many events over the years which I have thoroughly enjoyed.

I live locally in Hattersley and am the Vicar of St Barnabas Church. I have served as a school governor before and love connecting school, community, and faith together, as I believe they enrich each other. My favourite things to do are to play and watch sport, especially Manchester United. I am is passionate about seeing everyone know how brilliant they are, and how much they have to offer. I am married to Katy and we have two children. I don’t take myself too seriously and will chat to anyone, feel free to say hello.

I am a dad of six children who have all attended Pinfold Primary. I think the school has been fantastic for the education of my children.
I have been a member of several groups so the skills I have gained will help me in my role as a governor.

I am a local mother of 4, two of which attend Pinfold Primary and two who will be starting in the future. I think the school have been amazing for my children, acknowledging and supporting their unique ways of learning. Due to this I was keen to be involved in the governing board.
In my day job I work in child protection and hope that this will be of benefit on the governing board.

Staff Governor - End of Term - 30/11/2027
My name is Kayleigh Roscoe and I have been teaching at Pinfold Primary School since September 2021. Prior to this, I taught overseas and have experience teaching English as an additional language. Over the past three years, I have been teaching in a Year 5 classroom, where I have had the privilege of educating many eager young minds. As a life-long learner, I am keen to continue developing my skills as a teacher, and as a governor, and I strive to ignite this passion for learning within my own pupils. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Pinfold so far, and I look forward to getting involved in wider aspects of school life.
I am delighted to have been elected as staff governor and I am looking forward to working alongside a team of dedicated governors. As a teacher and a staff governor, it is important to me that each child has the opportunity to fulfil their full potential during their time at Pinfold Primary.
